Hold a cheap trading card up to a window and you can see the back through the front. That single test separates a real card from a printed rectangle, and it comes down to one thing: whether there is an opaque inner layer between the two printed faces.
Everything else follows from how the card will be used. A card destined for a binder wants gloss or soft-touch and blue core. A card that will be shuffled ten thousand times wants black core and an embossed linen surface so it slides rather than sticks. An art card wants stock chosen for how it renders an image, not how it handles.
So we stock all three properly and we will tell you which one your job needs — including when the cheaper one is right, which for a one-season team set it usually is.
Why we exist
Most printers treat a trading card as a small flyer: 300gsm card, print both sides, cut. That produces something that ghosts through, shuffles badly and marks at the corners inside a season.
We publish the core type and the finish, hold back-registration tightly enough that a deck is not accidentally marked, and print prototype runs from twelve so a designer can find out how a deck actually feels before committing to thousands.

Black-core linen playable stock in poker and bridge sizes. Heavy uncoated, soft-touch and textured art cards, signed and numbered. Business team sets. And the packaging: sealed foil packs with mechanically seeded rarity, tuck boxes, rigid two-piece boxes and retail display outers.
Variable data — photos, names, stats, numbering, rarity — carries no per-card setup charge, and sets arrive collated in whatever order you specify.
